Xander Beberman is a Senior Research Data Analyst on the National Student Support Accelerator team. He is interested in equitable and responsible uses of AI and machine learning as both a tool for and subject of social policy research. Xander previously served as a Data Scientist at the University of Chicago Urban Labs, where he created predictive modeling pipelines to aid the analysis and implementation of program evaluations related to public health and violence reduction, such as READI Chicago. He also previously served as a Software Engineer at the nonprofit organization Democracy Works, he built and maintained web-based tools to help make voting easier. He holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Chicago.
