High Dosage Literacy Tutoring: OSDE operates a high dosage tutoring program that pays teachers $50 per hour and includes growth incentives. The focus for this program is on 4th grade students at low performing elementary school sites, including sites with a school improvement designation. This program will last 15 weeks and provide expert level tutoring for students from highly trained and experienced teachers.
High Dosage Math Tutoring: OSDE operates the Math Tutoring Corps to support small groups of 7th-9th grade students in gaining math skills and concepts they may have missed due to learning disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This effort began in winter 2021 and continues through summer 2024.
