For the past 10 years Bay Area Tutoring Association has been providing school day, after school, weekend and evening tutoring programs - both online and on premise. Our on premise programs occur during the school day in-class and after school in conjunction with youth development programs (YMCA, Boys & Girls Club etc,.). Core subjects are English, digital literacy, numeracy, reading comprehension and math. 1:7 tutor to student ratio. Depending on grade level, tutor to student ratio, our session lengths vary from 30 minutes to 90 minutes. We use school-approved curriculum, and also offer, Pearson, Edmentum and Leveled Literacy separately as needed. Our online tutoring programs are also offered during the day. Catch Up & Read (CAR) focuses on equipping certified teachers with evidence-based literacy practices that give children from underserved communities the reading foundations they need to succeed in school and life. CAR addresses the reading gap in at-risk elementary students using two key strategies: 1) Training teachers for improved classroom instruction, ensuring all students access high-quality education and 2) Providing after-school tutoring led by CAR-Trained teachers to reinforce classroom learning. Teacher-led tutoring takes place for two hours after school and includes four key components: movement (exercise), SEL, interactive read aloud, and a targeted intervention group.
The Dan L Duncan Reading Initiative provides school-based early intervention to students who are at-risk for or who are experiencing reading failure as well as enrichment programs for students with grade level academic skills.
City Year's AmeriCorps members serving as Student Success Coaches (SSCs) are diverse young adults who serve full-time on teams in systemically under-resourced K-12 schools. They implement City Year's core Whole School Whole Child program, forming near-peer, developmental relationships and providing research-based, integrated social, emotional and academic supports for students, combined with whole classroom and school supports to enable rich learning environments. City Year's SSCs partner with teachers to provide supplemental capacity and personalize the learning environment. They use youth development strategies and student data on social emotional skills and early warning indicators of high school graduation and post-secondary success, such as attendance, behavior and ELA and math course performance, to accelerate students' holistic development.

Connect Me provides free online tutoring and mentoring services to students who fit at least one of these criteria:
1) They are in a low income family (less than $60,000 yearly household income)
2) At least one parent/guardian of the student is an essential worker (as defined by the NCSL)
3) The student is in virtual/hybrid school due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Students meet with their tutor at least once per week on a secured and monitored Zoom link, and have access to additional resources such as office hours.
CovEducation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that works to connect mentors from higher education institutions with K-12 students affected by school closures. Our mentors not only serve as academic tutors but also as role models who foster non-academic interests and career exploration. We also compile free, web-based educational resources for students, families, and educators, as well as partner with schools and other non-profits to improve the learning experience of K-12 students.

Curvebreakers offers standard signature courses of 18 hours of classroom instruction, supplemented with two proctored practice tests. Generally, the classroom instruction is divided into eight 2.25-hour sessions, and each practice test is 3.5 hours. However, based on student availability and/or specific student requirements, course length and sessions are customizable.
Our school programs were developed by Master Trainers, each with over 15 years of experience in the test prep industry, and feature unique content proven to increase test scores. Students receive small group, targeted instruction in areas identified as weaknesses, or in need of extra practice.
Edficiency is an online platform that allows teachers to create "sessions" for flex time and/or before/after-school tutoring on whatever topic they'd like, limiting it to whatever groups are appropriate. Teachers can request groups of students for specific interventions or request individual students over any time period. Students can then request to see teachers for specific sessions based on their needs. Admin are able to oversee this process and also request any student see any teacher at any time. Students that did not request anyone and were not requested by any teacher on a particular day are also all accounted for, being assigned to a teacher they know while balancing class sizes for teachers as needed. Administrators can easily look up any student's assignment or teacher's complete roster, as well as pull reports to inform their coaching of teachers or conferences with students, parents, and/or teachers to ensure the time is being used effectively.
EdLight is a platform to organize student work. Using EdLight's tutoring features, teachers can assign students to tutoring, specifying the standards / content for tutoring, and sharing any classwork / data that will allow the tutor to target their support. Tutors then share student work from each session back with teachers, allowing teachers to ensure that the tutoring is aligned to classwork and high quality. This intimate communication between teachers and tutors builds trust and allows teachers to confidently focus on grade level work during core instruction time.
High school tutors from across the Central New York area register through our website and are firstly interviewed. They are then paired with a student who is in need of tutoring. We hold tutoring sessions weekly on Saturday and Sunday at morning and evening times. Parents and tutors provide feedback through our optional session review forms.
The EnCorps STEMx Expert Tutor Program matches middle school students at high needs schools, currently under-performing in math, with volunteer STEMx tutors to meet virtually for two hours per week for two semesters for math tutoring and mentoring.
EngiNearU is an online STEM tutoring agency which primarily focuses on serving high school and college level STEM students. EngiNearU identified a need for tutoring services in upper level STEM courses at college and universities across the nation. We also specialize in all Advance Placement (AP) STEM courses for high school students.
