SIPPS (Systematic Instruction in Phonological Awareness, Phonics, and Sight Words) is a research-based foundational skills program proven to help both new and struggling readers in grades K-12 build skills and confidence for fluent, independent reading.
SiSTEM offers online or in-person tutoring sessions in a group or privately. Students age 4 and up can get academic help in science, math, english and foreign language subjects. Our online tutoring sessions are accessible through your smartphone, tablet, or computer right here on our website.
Start Making a Reader Today® (SMART®) is a volunteer program widely implemented in Oregon for students in grades preK-3 who are at risk of reading failure. The program is designed to be a low-cost, easy-to-implement intervention. Volunteer readers go into schools where at least 40% of students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch and read one-on-one with students twice a week for half an hour. Typically, one volunteer works with two children on four types of activities: reading to the child, reading with the child, re-reading with the child, and asking the child questions about what has been read. The program also gives each student two new books a month to encourage families to read together.
SmartStart provides one-on-one and small-group tutoring services in all levels of mathematics and ELA. SmartStart has provided tutoring services for over 35,000 students, attending hundreds of schools, in over 100 districts. Over 95% of SmartStart’s students come from ethnic/racial minorities. Nearly 25% of SmartStart’s students are English Language Learners, and nearly 15% of our students are designated as having special needs.
SmartStart is flexible and accommodating to school, district, and student needs, and can provide tutoring 7-days per week, in-person or virtually, in school or out, and between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm, year-round. SmartStart provides a diverse group of tutors, who work collaboratively to support students. SmartStart can provide either push-in or pull-out tutoring, during school hours or outside of school hours. SmartStart can provide tutor-only programs, or full-implementation programs, which include tutor, curriculum and assessment materials, progress monitoring, and so forth.
SPARK Early Literacy provides in-school tutoring, family engagement, and opportunities to attend after-school activities to all students in high-poverty schools, not just to low achievers. SPARK Early Literacy tutors work with K5-3rd grade struggling readers, using a set lesson plan and program materials.

Springboard's recipe for impact is a method we call Family-Educator Learning Accelerators (or FELAs). FELAs are 5-10-week cycles during which teachers and parents team up to help kids reach learning goals. Programming combines personalized reading instruction for PreK-3rd graders, weekly workshops training parents as reading coaches, and professional development for educators.

A reading coach oversees the student's assignment, progress, and engagement. The reading coach spends 4-7 minutes with the individual student at the completion of the digital lesson. Each page in the student workbook has a digital lesson explaining a specific reading skill with directions for the student to follow in the examples. The curriculum deploys a phonics approach in learning to decode words, aligned with the Science of Reading, by combining the sounds of consonants and vowels to read words followed by phrases and stories.
As a student completes their assigned digital lesson, a reading coach will spend time with the individual student on the following activities:
a) Review the student's completion of notations in the workbook as directed in the lesson.
b) Review the student's understanding of the content and reading skill in the lesson
c) Review the student's comfort in reading the content in the accompanying exercises.

STEP (Supporting Tutors Engaging Pupils) is a structured tutoring program designed to help build reading and language skills in K-3 students who are below grade level. Steps to Success is a Supplemental Service Provider for the Colorado Department of Education, offering one-on-one reading tutoring using multisensory, synchronous online instruction from a tutor and blended instruction with Lexia Reading Core 5.
The sudden switch to virtual learning impacted all K-12 students, the ones whose education was impacted most were elementary and middle schoolers. Our team saw an opportunity to build a community to teach young students and help older students meet their graduation requirements through Student Power.
SuccessMaker is a learning program that functions much like a personal tutor for students. It has a reading and a math component. Your school could be using reading or math or both.
Tutors will work with small groups of three students at Boys and Girls Clubs and YMCAs three times a week. Preservice and current teachers will serve as tutors, focusing primarily on math instruction and enrichment. Tutoring will be offered as part of the programs already in place at these locations, for example summer camps.

We aim to bridge the gap in education caused by underlying socioeconomic issues. Talent Pro Tutor offers a variety of tutoring services. We offer 1:1 tutoring as well as pod tutoring. With school districts, we also offer larger group HIT tutoring or remedial learning. All of our programs are personalized to what the individual student or school district needs.
In order to ensure that our students are receiving the best possible academic support, students take a variety of assessments. Before beginning tutoring services, students will take a diagnostic assessment so that we have an understanding of what areas the student has mastered and what areas the student needs to review. Our assessments are coded and aligned to Common Core Standards and specific state standards. As students begin tutoring with their assigned educator, they will frequently be presented with formative assessments to track their progress and understanding. At the end of each unit or topic, students will be presented with a summative assessment to ensure that the target areas have been mastered. These assessments may come in a variety of forms, such as projects, presentations, short quizzes, etc. All progress and data is tracked through our learning platform for both educators, parents, and administrators to keep track of. If we see that a student is not making the necessary progress, then we will reevaluate the case and create a new learning plan.
Targeted Reading Instruction (TRI; formerly called Targeted Reading Intervention) is a professional development program for K-2 teachers with an embedded reading intervention. Teachers work one-on-one with a beginning reader for 15 minutes a day for a period of eight to ten weeks. TRI literacy coaches support teachers with an initial training institute followed by weekly web-based coaching while a teacher works with a student.
Founded in 2011 and home-grown in Philly, TEACH offers exceptional tutoring and educational programming K-College.
